| Chat tonight! |

Tonight's the big chat. 9-11 tonight, EST, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/literarynymphschat/. Steph will be there (Stephanie Vaughan, who's extremely nice and friendly and helpful and cool), and Jet Mykles and Michael Barnette. And, of course, me! (Applause.) I've run my own chats before, but I've never been part of someone else's. Let's all hope that I don't somehow shame myself.
Steph raised the important question: How much of "In This Land" is it okay to talk about mid-chat? An especially wise query, since I'd just realized roughly the day before that I can't talk about "In This Land" pretty much at all, since it's a subscription-only series and I don't want to give things away. I pretty much reversed my position for the chat, though; I figure it's okay to be fairly open during the chat, as long as I don't give away future plot points.
Switching gears for a moment, let me ask you guys, what does your LJ friends page do? Mine has a list of everyone who wants to be my friend (all people with excellent, excellent taste), and then a list of everyone I've friended (everyone who volunteered for the position, because I'm easy like that). My problem is that the first list doesn't change, and it would be extremely helpful if it would remove names once I've agreed to friend people. I kind of have to wade through the first list, comparing names and figuring out which boxes are clickable, to add people.
Is there a way to make the first list differentiate between potential friends and friends I've already made? |
