And now I shall inform you of all of the exciting developments over here in Matthewland.
(Or do you like Mattworld? No, that would just encourage you all to shorten my name, and I'm not down with that.)

There's a firm date for a new chat, but I don't know if I should promote it now, or wait until after the February 5th chat. (February 5th, 9-11 EST: Live chat with me, Stephanie Vaughan, James Buchanan, and TA Chase in the Fallen Angels Review chat room.)
There's been some mention (Stephanie Vaughan brought it up, because she's on top of stuff like that) of a chat aimed at readers outside the US. Catering to European/Asian time zones and such. Thoughts? Interested parties? Anyone? Brenhamella?
I may have a chance to join in on some magazine advertising; fingers crossed. (To whom would I pray for this sort of thing? Alanohi, since it relates to my writing? Setanoto, for public relations?)
Since I'd like to begin Novel #2 on February 1st, I'm trying to get the bulk of my February writing out of the way. Which primarily means writing ahead on "In This Land," so I won't have to interrupt the novel to watch princes have sex. (Wait, like that's suddenly a problem?)
And now I have to decide what Rini's going to post about today over on MySpace. You know Rini; he's always open to suggestions and new ideas, so don't be shy about bringing up new topics for him to discuss. |
