Someone asked me about Jeff's CD. I have three copies, all signed (thank you!), and obviously I can't part with those, so I went to Jeff's site to look into buying a fourth.
While I was there, I saw that Jeff's label is Transcontinental Records. Horrified, I wondered when the carnage would stop. (What'd we have at last count? Backstreet, *NSYNC, O-Town, LFO, LMNT, Aaron, now Jeff? Who else?)
Then I went to Transcon's site, http://www.t-con.com/.
Which is where I learned about: State of Florida, Office of Financial Regulation v. Trans Continental Airlines, Inc., et al. Case No. 48-2006-CA-011136.
I was like, whoa. I clicked the available link and skimmed through the PDF file.
I haven't done any further research just yet; I wanted to share the news first, because it looks like Lou's going to prison. I'd assume that the folks still signed with him need a new label. Also, what happens to the sixth of Backstreet money that still goes to Lou? Does it go to the Boys from now on? Can they please receive what they've worked to get? |
