Great chat yesterday. A lot of authors, a lot of readers, a lot of fun.
Thank you to the people at the first chat session for reminding me that I could talk about Off the Record, because I'd been so busy thinking about "In This Land," I'd forgotten that I could post excerpts from OTR, too. I got overexcited and posted 5 OTR excerpts, but the great thing is that there's so much sex in OTR - - Patrick and Jordan can't stay off of each other - - that I had plenty of material.
I swear, if you skim through fast enough, OTR is just one big, long, make-out session.
Plus, you know, betrayal and secrecy and some sort of actual plot.
But Patrick's seductive, and Jordan's hot for it, and I can't blame him.
Steph brought up the idea of a sequel. I really have to stop talking to her, because she's the one who planted the idea of writing more on "Incredible," and the concept keeps taunting me. Anyway, an OTR sequel would be excellent. You know, when I have time to write it, roughly 500 years from now.
I just updated "Sucker." I spent so much time over so many years at SU, it still feels like home to me. The other site and I are getting to know each other really well these days, but when I opened the SU control panel, it was a nostalgic moment. Like, oh, I remember you, my old friend. I never get to spend any time over there anymore! I miss the guys, I miss "Sucker," I miss my slash folks.
More hours in the day would be great. |
