Out of curiosity, I clicked on the link to "Living" (all in one file) so generously offered over here. It crashed my browser.
Awesome.
Time for an informal poll.
Who's your favorite rapper?
Feel free to explain why.
I was going to ask which boy band is your favorite, but I realized that it might turn into a Backstreet-*NSYNC contest, and I'm not about to go there. We could try, "Which boy band is your favorite, other than Backstreet and *NSYNC," but I don't know what my answer would be. The most obvious answer would be 98 Degrees.
(Minutes pass.)
(Thoughts wander to dark, steamy places where Jeff's naked, Nick's clothes are coming off, and Drew's abs are rippling.)
Yeah, let's go with that. 98's a good answer. A very, very good answer.
What were we talking about?
Edited to add: I just posted the above entry and attempted to move on with my life. While Drew thoughts simmered in my mind, I noticed that the program I had running to play music videos had just loaded two O-Town videos into the rotation, as if it's tried to play O-Town at all in weeks. A message from the universe, perhaps? Erik-Michael sulking? Ashley trying to get my attention? Jacob proposing a contest? Hey, if anyone's qualified to set up a 98-O-Town head-to-head match-up, I am, but do we really want to go there? |

The chat went well! Good times. A good mix of old friends and new readers.
According to my notes, the next chat is in two weeks on April 6th. Can that be right?
A few days ago, someone handed me a bottle of Lipton's Green Tea with Citrus and told me to try it. I was wary, but I took a swig. At first, I wasn't sure, but now I think that it's a pretty cool drink. Refreshing, cleansing, sweet without being cloying. Try some. |

| Reviews, please |
[Mar. 24th, 2007|09:44 pm] |
You know that you're opinionated. You know that you have great taste. You know that you want to be respected for your keen eye and authoritative tone.
Face it: you're a literary critic at heart.
And what you really want to do is review my work.
Go ahead!
I'd like to post reviews of my work on my site, but, oops, no one's actually reviewed my work. Would you like to do it?
You're welcome to review "In This Land," Off the Record, and/or any of my short stories. (Not Guys in College as a whole, but any of the stories in there, yes.)
Positive reviews are, of course, preferred. Reviews may be edited slightly, but I won't put words in your mouth. Also, it's possible that I won't use all of the reviews offered, and I apologize for that here and now.
E-mail me with your review, the title of what you're reviewing, and to whom you'd like the review attributed. (Are you reviewing as B. Meyers, Brenda Meyers, Bren-Bren, or BallCrusher1978?)
There's no deadline. There's also no length requirement. Ideally, you'll use a professional tone while still making me sound like an absolute genius, but you knew that already.
(Edited to add: For the record, I intended this all to apply to Site #2. My slash has already been reviewed. Man, my slashwriting career is way ahead of my original fiction one!) |
